podcasts

Former student and now friend Irene Spadafora of indigoaudio.ca offered to make these podcasts for me.

You can click on a variety of pieces – an essay about the process of writing and my own writing epiphany that appears in True to Life, an embarrassing but humourous (I hope) memory (Cheese Tray, which I offer to my students as an example of the light voice), an anecdotal excerpt from Finding The Jewish Shakespeare, and two of the short fantasy stories, excerpted in All My Loving, that I wrote in 1964 at the age of fourteen about my passion for Paul McCartney.

Eric Molinsky from the New York website Nextbook.ca did a fascinating podcast about Jacob Gordin, including interviews with me and others, which is below.
